Experience “Reservation Dogs,” which holds the distinction of being the first and only TV series where every writer, director, and series regular is Indigenous. This trailblazing show follows the journey of four Native American teenagers growing up on a reservation in eastern Oklahoma.
After the screening: Let’s come together to share some delicious pizza slices and cookies. It’s not just a meal; it’s a chance to build connections and celebrate the diversity of our community.*
Special Guest Speaker: We’re honored to have Dr. Mark Cunningham and a Special Guest Speaker Skye Howell lead a thought-provoking discussion about the show’s themes, the importance of indigenous representation, and the cultural significance of “Reservation Dogs.”
Your Questions Matter: We want to hear from you! Take this opportunity to ask questions, share your insights, and deepen your understanding of the series and its impact.
This event will be held in person @ 1212 Rio Grande Street | Building 1000, Room 1103 (Multipurpose Room) | Austin, Texas 78701
