Biography

My undergraduate work at the University of Nevada was in Bio-Archaeology focusing on Bronze Age sacral stress and work injuries. I also minored in Sociology, focusing on Internet dating and marriage patterns. My graduate work at Tiffin University focused on aesthetics and its application in the digital world and the influence of media on cultural identity.

Teaching Philosophy

I enjoy media and use interactive tools and applications readily. I believe in diverse learning environments that offer a multitude of paths for learning. Students will experience culture from many different perspectives and through multiple mediums. There is so much out there and we can only touch on so much in one class, but I hope to inspire students to seek out and explore the fascinating history we came from and wonderful world we live in.
