September 26, 2017
7:00-9:00 p.m.
Eastview Campus 8500
Presenter
Matt Watkins, Philosophy Professor
Bruce Lee was a world famous martial artist and film star, but it’s less well known that he was also a student of both Eastern and Western philosophy. Lee was influenced by thinkers such as Bertrand Russell, Alan Watts, and Jiddu Krishnamurti. Join us as philosophy professor and JKD black belt, Matt Watkins leads a discussion over Lee’s philosophy and its relevance to life inside and outside of the martial arts.
