Adjunct Professor of Philosophy
Biography
BA in Philosophy from University of Pittsburgh (Intensive, Honors track).
MA in Philosophy from Western Michigan University (Metaphysics & Mind focus).
Currently working on PhD in Philosophy from University of Texas, Austin.
Besides working at ACC as an adjunct professor, Prof. Bassford also works in the Cypress Creek Learning Lab as a philosophy/writing tutor.

Teaching Philosophy
Students in Prof. Bassford’s class can expect lectures, group discussions and activities, weekly content quizzes, and weekly discussion board writing assignments. The material of the class is important, but Bassford hopes more than anything else that students will walk away from the course as overall better critical thinkers.
