Teaching Philosophy

The study of Philosophy addresses the most fundamental questions that we all ask ourselves concerning values and the meaning of life. The focus of my classes is to learn to think critically for ourselves about these questions through the study and analysis of the works of great thinkers. Classes include both historical philosophers such as the ancient Greeks and more recent thinkers such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The courses are also multicultural and examine both Western and Eastern philosophical traditions, including Hindu, Buddhist and Taoist philosophers.
