INRW Department TSIA 1.0 & 2.0 Placement Chart (Effective 2/2023)

● Prior to placement, non–native speakers of English who have not passed TSI must either complete ESOL testing or be referred to an ESOL Department

● Prior to Spring 2021: If a student’s reading and writing scores indicate two different placements, use the score that shows the biggest need.
Students will be reassessed by their INRW instructors during the first two weeks of classes and can be moved to a different section if appropriate.
