After graduation, she was awarded a Fulbright Grant to Azerbaijan, where she spent a year teaching at the University of Languages. She received a master\u2019s in theological studies from Harvard Divinity School and a master\u2019s in creative writing from the University of Alabama. She has been teaching at ACC since 2021.<\/p>\n<p>She translated a selection of poems by Lida Yusupova, published in the collection <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cicadapress.net\/products-page\/books\/lida-yusupova-the-scar-we-know\/\"><em>The Scar We Know<\/em><\/a> (Cicada Press, 2021).
