The focus of my classes is to learn to think critically for ourselves about these questions through the study and analysis of the works of great thinkers. Classes include both historical philosophers such as the ancient Greeks and more recent thinkers such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The courses are also multicultural and examine both Western and Eastern philosophical traditions, including Hindu, Buddhist and Taoist philosophers.

Areas of Interest

Western Philosophy
Metaphysics
Ethics
Eastern Philosophy and Religion
Mythology

Courses Taught at ACC

PHIL-1301: Introduction to Philosophy
PHIL-2306: Ethics
EDUC-1300: Student Development
Composition
Persuasive writing

Courses Taught Elsewhere

World Religions
Eastern Religion
Founders, Prophets, and Saints – Socrates, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King

Linda K.
