Azzurra Crispino – <\/strong>Associate Professor of Philosophy<\/h2>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I was born in Naples, Italy and moved to the United States as a child. I completed my undergraduate work at Ripon College in WI, and my graduate work at Texas A&M University. I am a contributing author in Real Drugs in a Virtual World<\/i>. I recently presented an article entitled “Can’t Unrape: Restorative Justice, Transformative Justice and Sexual Assault” to the American Philosophical Association.<\/p>\n

Teaching Philosophy<\/strong><\/h4>\n

My classes are a mix of lecture and small group interaction. Expect to be doing group activities, engaged in class discussion, peer-editing and learning from each other throughout the semester. Many of my courses include a service learning component. Students will volunteer in the community outside of the classroom to complete their final project. Be prepared to do self-directed online assignments, watch videos before coming to class, and otherwise be an independent learner.<\/span><\/p>\n
