The Rio Review

The RIO REVIEW is a student publication from Austin Community College’s Creative Writing Department. The first publication of the ACC literary journal was AT THE RIVER’S EDGE in 1990. The literary journal was first published as THE RIO REVIEW in 1998, and was faculty- edited until 2005. Since then the production of the issues of the RIO REVIEW every Fall and Spring is the work of Creative Writing majors in a capstone degree course that offers students skill work in the production of a literary journal. Each issue of the RIO REVIEW is selected, judged, edited, produced and celebrated by student- editors seeking to showcase the best literary works and artworks the ACC student community has to offer each semester. This digitized collection contains most of THE RIO REVIEW publications. If you do not see the one you are looking for, contact the Institutional Archive or the Creative Writing department.
