Although they must have taken the TSI test at some point, students who pass these courses do not need passing TSI scores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESOL CE and CR classes that make students TSI complete.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Credit:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Passing grade in <strong>Reading and Vocabulary 4 (ESOL 0314)<\/strong>= Reading TSI completion.<\/li>\n<li>Passing grade in\u00a0Writing<strong> 4 (ESOL 0374)<\/strong> = Writing TSI completion.<\/li>\n<li>The student will automatically be TSI completed in XTOV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Continuing Education:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Passing grade in <strong>Reading and Vocabulary 4 (COMX 4014)<\/strong> = Reading TSI completion.<\/li>\n<li>Passing grade in <strong>Writing 4 (COMX 4074)<\/strong> = Writing TSI completion.<\/li>\n<li>The student must convert these CE credits to CR credits for them to count for TSI completion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Steps for converting CE credits to CR credits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once Reading 4 and Writing 4 are complete through CE, the student can begin the process of converting their CE credits into academic credits\u00a0to become TSI complete.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The student completes the credit application\/enrollment process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The advisor waives the TSI hold for registration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The student completes one college credit class with a grade of C or higher. *<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The student requests a copy of their official CE transcript.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Complete the request form (&#8220;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/continue.austincc.edu\/files\/registration\/transcript.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">CE Transcript Request<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">&#8220;)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Email the completed form to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:ceregistration@austincc.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">ceregistration@austincc.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">CE Registration sends the student their CE Transcript and a Conversion Request Form.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The student completes the Conversion Request Form.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">The student emails (1) their CE transcript AND (2) their Conversion Request Form to Admissions and Records (<\/span><a href=\"mailto:student.records@austincc.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">student.records@austincc.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Admissions and Records converts the CE credits to college credits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">After the credits are converted in the system, the TSI Office marks the student as TSI complete.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: It takes approximately 7-10 working days for the conversion to appear in the student\u2019s record. Please be patient. You may ask for a status update on your credit conversion <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">14 days after you emailed student.records@austincc.edu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">.
