Quill Driver’s Writing Club provides a hub for artists to network across disciplines, such as linking writers with filmmakers, performers, visual artists and musicians for creative collaborations within and outside their course curriculum. Through workshops, showcases, networking events, and creative meetups, we provide a supportive space and resource for students to grow. The annual Innovate Literary Competition is open to all ACC students. The competition accepts fiction, poetry, and nonfiction submissions. Winners are selected by a panel of judges comprised of ACC faculty and staff. Winners of the ACC Innovate Competition are submitted to the national Innovate Competition, which is administered by The League for Innovation in the Community College.<\/a> All submissions for the Innovate competition will be simultaneously submitted for the Rio Review<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vision+Voice is an annual poetry contest for K-12 students (including dual-credit and ECHS students!) in the Austin Community College service area. Launched in 2013, Vision+Voice was established by ACC to provide multiple venues for students to become published poets, and give students greater access to share their work with authentic audiences. Students are free to determine the topic and type of poem to submit. Students can submit multiple poems to the contest. Poems of any language are accepted.<\/p>\n
Winning poems are selected by a panel of judges consisting of ACC Creative Writing faculty and staff.<\/p>\n
Vision+Voice provides students multiple opportunities to share their work:<\/strong><\/p>\n
