The only sustainable peace is embedded in justice.<\/span><\/p>\n","column_2":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>CONFLICT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>CONFLICT<\/strong> is viewed as a natural part of all relationships that presents opportunities for either cycles of hurt and destruction, or an opportunity to build a better structure for the relationship. Conflict transformation requires a positive orientation toward conflict and a willingness to engage in the work it takes to produce constructive change and growth. Finalists in this competition will have the opportunity for their art to be displayed during the Spring Symposium at the Art Lab.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><strong>Natalie Earhart<\/strong> is an interdisciplinary\u00a0artist , writer and curator based in Austin, Texas.\u00a0Originally from California, she earned her BA in Studio Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2013.\u00a0In 2015, she co-founded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/almostrealthings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/almostrealthings.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1708625479340000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0v4bWFhFz-jcg1-Pr0p-t_\">Almost Real Things<\/a>, an arts organization and venue for artists and art enthusiasts to find community, develop professional skills and contribute to the arts ecosystem.
