The African and African Diaspora Studies (AADS) program provides an opportunity for students to engage in focused studies across multiple academic disciplinary areas. Within the program, students can enroll in a variety specified general education course sections developed with an added emphasis on the people of Africa and\/or the African diaspora. Additionally, the program draws on the theories and methodologies that will provide a foundation for students to continue their studies in a comparable AADS program at a four-year institution.<\/p>\n

AADS focus examines the diversity, complexity, and interdependence of the world community. It also provides a broad knowledge base for understanding and analyzing <\/span>various topics relative to the diverse communities in Africa and the African diaspora.<\/span><\/p>\n
